This artwork is of Buckley Ponds in Bishop California. Sometimes I go out to scout out a scene for future artwork. In this case, I was looking for Cottonwood trees for an upcoming series called the “Character of Cottonwoods”. Sometimes other beauty catches my attention and sidetracks me, as is the case here. I normally leave myself time for just such an occasion.
