From Convict Lake we can see Laurel Mountain with its colorful metamorphic rock layers.
This place has dug itself deep into my soul. With it’s towering mountains, sparkling blue cold clear water, fall colors, gray shale shores. Sometimes the water is still with a mirror-like reflection.
Over the years I’ve fished, hiked, and done photography there.
I’ve also attended outdoor church services there. Which was easily the most scenic outdoor church service I had been to.
