This is Green Creek Meadow by Frank Lee Hawkins. At certain cloudy times, there are shafts of light that interact with the meadow artistically enhancing the scene, ever-changing moment by moment from one type of beauty to the next.
It is an awesome place. I’ve got to get back out there. Often when I head to Green Creek in fall I get sidetracked and wind up heading to summer meadows instead for fall color. So I guess I should go in late spring or early summer. So much beauty, so little time.
I try to convey what it feels like to be there as well as express my idealized way of seeing and remembering it.
