This is MACK LAKE INLET by Frank lee Hawkins. This place has what I call “The Magic” In this case it’s a special beauty that digs into the mind and will not be easily forgotten.
It’s in the Eastern Sierra mountains of California. Many years ago I hiked up and walked out onto some boulders and this was the view at 10,470 feet. I knew I would be back. Once is not enough. This is one of those perfect outdoor places that people get married at. It just plain feels good to there. Photographers, artists, poets and people that need refreshment congregate here and can all be found enjoying it.
In a heatwave, I like to escape the triple-digit heat of the Owens valley and just cool off up here.
