In the summer of (2019) I did a short but steep day hike to Saddlebag Creek from the walk-in campground below. Wow, I can’t believe it took me 30 years to get around to doing this.
The feeling of flow has been concentrated into the water where it belongs. I’m attempting to make the rocks rockier, the creek flowier and plants stand out a bit more.
It is a carefully crafted balance of reality and idealistic interpretation of a place and what it
feels like to be there
