This is Silver Lake Reflections.
Carson Peak stands as a sentinel over this beautiful slice of fall in the Eastern Sierra with its visual magic that dominates the June Lake Loop. In this case, I’ve been on the hiking trail to Gem Lake hinted at above the trees. I’ve been in the trees and shore fished from a large flat rock just offshore many times. Then Lastly I’ve stood on the grey shale of the shore by the boathouse, which is the point of view for this artwork. This really called to me to do an artwork that captures the essence of it.
