THE HEART OF RAINBOW FALLS

This is The Heart of Rainbow Falls. This awesome waterfall, 101 feet high with its beautiful cold clean water, flows through this multi-hued artwork and lays out patterns that fan out into its main pool. At certain times there are shafts of light that interact with mist artistically enhancing the scene, ever-changing over time from one type of beauty to the next. I try to convey what it feels like to be there and express my idealized way of seeing and remembering it.

This view of it really called me to do an artwork that captures its essence. The place is fantastic. Down in the canyon, I like to take photos in this little area that is dreamlike and beautiful, often with a mix of mist and sunbeams.
